Stationary Log Debarker

Demuth offers a complete line of five ring-debarkers. The machines are developed for different needs production needs and application. The largest model makes it possible to debarks logs of up to 800 mm in diameter of several different species like pine, eucalyptus, acacia and others. It features a system that makes the use of self centring in-feed system redundant, making a significant reduction in the inicial capital expenditure as well as the operating expenses for a debarking project. The product line is designed to be extremely sturdy and functional. On HS conception, the machines are extremely productivity and of easy maintenance.

Rotor

The rotor with bearing is manufactured exclusively by Demuth and is lubricated with grease, which eliminate oil lubricating system.

Knives

Debarking arms equipped with knife tips, guarantee a fast and economical operation.

Safety

All machine mobile parts of the machine are protected.

Versatility

Free and easy access to the main components. Conversion possibility from stationary to mobile machine (interchangeable frame).

Rotor

Manufactured according to an innovative compressing system for the debarking arms. A spring for each arm operates by compression giving a fast answer to the debarking operation. In addition they can work without further adjustment for both on minimum as well as maximum diameter, with the additional power from centrifugal force.

The rotor is manufactured exclusively by Demuth and includes internal lubrication by mineral oil, eliminating environment contamination.

V-Shape Rolls

Two roll sets, (an in-feed and out-feed group), enable the logs to center, avoiding logs from rotating and getting out of line, while being fed through the machine.

Hydraulic System

Fixed hydraulic system that makes it easy, quickly and efficiently to adjust the pressure of the in-feed and out-feed rolls. The hydraulic accumulators guarantee smooth opening and soft closing of the transporting rolls.

Safety

The machine is mechanically protected against any type of blockage, through a coupling device.

Options

All Demuth's DDF machines are modular type and can be assembled according to the clients need.
